Martin Vincent has taken individual frames from a single scene in a Claude Chabrol French dialogue film and digitally cropped them to show only the English subtitles. These sentences are then represented within one image, condensing the time of the original scene down to that required to read the text. The narrative is intact and specific but, with most of the original content removed, now strangely bewildering.
