Len Horsey
Len Horsey’s work spans performance, sculpture, writing, cartoons and film and video, many of these presented via his alter ego Norman Clayture – the singer in wooden underpants. A graduate of Northumbria University, he has exhibited in the 1997 ‘Beck’s New Contemporaries’, ‘Potential Hits’ at the Chapman Gallery, Salford, alongside the continuing performances and other activities as Norman Clayture, including for Flux magazine, Manchester and for Vane, Newcastle in 2002. For ‘Memento’, he produced a Norman Clayture cartoon strip, published over five days (8-12 July, 2002) in the free Metro newspaper.
