Four different perspectives on the theme of movement, looking at the city from outside and outside of the city from within. Gina Bisson presents a stream-of-consciousness meditation on the ‘movement of thought’. Stuart A Craig’s photographs record twenty-four hours in the life of Newcastle from a personal perspective. Graham Patterson’s series of photographs, some featuring a lone figure, are taken on and in close proximity to the East Coast mainline rail route that connects Newcastle with London and the north of Scotland. Starting on the evening of the exhibition preview, Chris Rollen will create a series of sound performances/recordings in collaboration with a DJ. During the exhibition each progressive set will be mixed and re-recorded to create a constantly evolving soundtrack.
